DYMSTEC’s flagship products, the portable drone jammer DRONE HUNTER XRS and the stand-type signal jamming amplifier DRONE HUNTER FD, took center stage at Singapore’s Synapse Logic booth during IMDEX 2025, held from May 6 to 8. Standing alongside Asia’s premier maritime defense technologies, these advanced solutions powerfully demonstrated DYMSTEC’s competitive edge in the global arena. Through this strategic partnership, DYMSTEC successfully reinforced its technological capabilities and market competitiveness, effectively expanding recognition of its drone neutralization technology across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
IMDEX: A Global Hub for Maritime Defense
First launched in 1997, IMDEX has established itself as Asia’s most influential international maritime defense exhibition, particularly dominant in Southeast Asia. The event truly encompasses the global maritime industry, drawing participation from North and South America, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This year’s exhibition featured over 250 companies from 25 countries, showcasing naval auxiliary equipment, combat systems, and management software technologies. The event attracted 51 VIP delegations from 40 countries worldwide, including senior naval officials, chiefs of staff, commanders, and leadership from 22 nations, including South Korea. The exhibition’s impact is undeniable: 94% of participants from IMDEX 2023 reported establishing new business relationships, solidifying its reputation as a powerhouse for generating meaningful industry connections.
Featured Products: DRONE HUNTER XRS and DRONE HUNTER FD
Rather than participating directly in IMDEX 2025, DYMSTEC strategically partnered with Synapse Logic, a security equipment specialist, to showcase its solutions. The company presented two key products: the DRONE HUNTER XRS and DRONE HUNTER FD.
The DRONE HUNTER XRS, weighing 5.9 kg, offers rifle-like portability and usability, capable of targeting and disrupting frequencies within a 1 km range for over an hour of continuous operation. The DRONE HUNTER FD model, while less mobile due to its stand-type design, delivers impressive medium to long-range capabilities, neutralizing drones up to 8 km away.
A standout feature of the DRONE HUNTER FD is its specialized auxiliary equipment that focuses jamming signals into concentrated beams rather than the typical fan-shaped dispersal, ensuring friendly drones remain unaffected. Both products effectively neutralize a wide spectrum of drone frequencies. Given that military drone applications have been widespread since the 1970s and 80s, drone jammers represent a critical product category in the defense industry, regardless of their form factor.
Building on the successful showcase at IMDEX 2025, DYMSTEC plans to pursue strategic collaborations for expanding drone countermeasure technologies with diverse global partners requiring maritime defense and national security solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. The company will also incorporate feedback gathered from IMDEX to further refine the performance of both DRONE HUNTER XRS and DRONE HUNTER FD models while focusing on developing next-generation drone response systems. Leveraging the successful booth experience at IMDEX 2025, DYMSTEC is committed to strengthening its brand presence at future international defense exhibitions. To achieve this, the company plans to expand product demonstration opportunities at domestic and international defense conferences and testing events, while strengthening customer partnerships through real-world application case studies.
