Dymstec Expands Brand Experience Through Madex 2025 Participation

DYMSTEC participated in MADEX 2025 as an anti-drone and counter-terrorism solutions provider during the four-day event held from May 28-31, 2025, at BEXCO in Busan. The company attracted significant attention by introducing an immersive VR experience program designed to enhance visitors’ understanding of drone countermeasure technologies and generate interest in the related industry. This booth featured DYMSTEC’s recently developed simulation system, delivering quality and accuracy comparable to actual VR games, which garnered meaningful interest from defense and security officials.

About MADEX 2025: Korea's Premier Maritime Defense Exhibition

MADEX 2025, the International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition, is Korea’s largest maritime defense industry specialized exhibition hosted annually by the Republic of Korea Navy since 1999. The event features domestic maritime defense companies of various sizes displaying their latest maritime defense technologies and products, including unmanned vessels, submarines, maritime defense systems, and military communication equipment at individual booths, with demonstrations and explanations for visitors. Approximately 150 companies participate, with naval delegations from over 30 countries visiting BEXCO to explore partnership opportunities alongside general visitors. These international maritime defense industry officials engage in exchanges with domestic companies and participate in international defense conferences and seminars held concurrently at BEXCO to discuss future technologies and strategies in international maritime defense.

Immersive VR Experience: Enhancing Understanding of Drone Operations

DYMSTEC’s immersive VR experience booth, designed to provide indirect experience of actual drone countermeasure operation sensations, concluded successfully with significant interest from both defense officials and general participants. At this drone jamming booth, participants wore VR headsets and directly operated the company’s actual product, the DRONE HUNTER XRS drone hunter gun, performing operations to visually detect and jam flying drones. The jamming simulation system unfolded across various background scenarios including urban areas and mountainous terrain, configured to allow vivid VR technology experience of realistic drone attack situations in virtual environments.

Beyond Demonstration: Fusing Technology with Immersive Content

DYMSTEC’s VR experience booth demonstrated the convergence of defense technology with immersive experiential content beyond simple technology demonstration. Moving away from introducing existing drone countermeasure technologies through simple explanations or model displays, the company significantly improved accessibility by allowing participants to directly operate drone jamming equipment like a game and experience actual operational environments. This approach expanded general public interest in defense technologies and enhanced practical operational understanding, receiving positive evaluations from overseas military officials and industry experts who participated in MADEX 2025 for its high applicability. There was particular praise for maximizing realism and educational effectiveness by reflecting elements necessary in actual operational environments within virtual spaces.
